Cancelling an appointment

 

We strive to give all patients the best experience possible as well as providing high quality dental care. We believe that communication and cooperation are key elements in any healthcare setting.

Because we value our patients’ time, we emphasize the importance of keeping scheduled appointments.

To help things run smoothly we ask that patients:

• attend appointments on time
• give us 24 hours notice if you cannot keep an appointment so we can offer it to someone else - for your convenience you can cancel an appointment via the link on our Home page, by calling the practice on 01752 841789 and leaving a message or by email to forestreedental.primecare@nhs.net

 

We do understand that there are emergencies and a 24 hours advance notice may not be possible at all times, however we kindly ask that you to contact the practice as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment.

If you fail to attend a booked appointment, or cancel an appointment without 24 hours notice more than once, the practice reserves the right to deny you future appointments.

 

Postponing an appointment due to illness

 

If you have a scheduled appointment at the practice, but are unwell, we kindly ask that you contact the practice to reschedule for another time.

 

If you attend the practice with a cold sore, we may ask that you re-book for another time once the cold sore has healed.
